Check-ups and sick visits are available with our doctors at either of our two locations. In order to avoid excessive wait, all visits are by appointment. We suggest that you make your appointment far in advance so you can get your choice of time, doctor and location. If you fail to show up for your appointment, a missed appointment charge may be applied to your account. In the event that you are late for your appointment, please understand that we may need to ask you to reschedule. This is done in consideration for the other patients that have scheduled appointments.
Sick Child Visits
We will make every effort to schedule your sick child visit on the same day that you call us. Please call early during office hours so that we can schedule your visit at a convenient time. Our phone lines open at 8:30 in the morning.
2-3 well child visits will be scheduled for the initial time slots on Saturday with the remainder of the slots open for ill visits. Ill visits must be scheduled same day. Our phone lines open at 8:30 am to schedule.
All visits require a scheduled appointment in order to avoid delays for scheduled patients. "Walk-in" patients may be charged a walk-in fee and will be added to the schedule if possible, or may be asked to return later when an appointment is available.
If you have a medical emergency during office hours, we will do our best to see your child as soon as possible or refer you to the appropriate facility. If you need immediate assistance by phone after hours, please call the main number at (513) 321-0199 to reach the answering service.
Multiple Child Visits
If you would like us to see more than one child, please schedule all of them when you make your appointment. Without a scheduled appointment, we may not be able to see a sibling immediately, and you may be asked to wait while the doctor sees a scheduled patient first.
Well Child Visits
"Check-Ups" are very important for maintaining your child's health. During these visits, we evaluate the growth and development of your child as well as address any of your concerns. Our office will try to accommodate same day routine visit requests, but the schedule is often prohibitive. However, we maintain a cancellation waiting list, so if you would like to be seen as soon as possible, let us know and we will call you if an appointment opens up. We follow the American Academy of Pediatrics recommended schedule for well child visits:
1 week, 1 month, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 15 months, 18 months, 2 years, 2 1/2 years, 3 years, then yearly visits subsequently
We track missed/non-cancelled appointments. Insurance does not cover charges for no-show or late cancellation fees. There may be a charge for a late cancellation/no-show appointment of $50. Repeated missed or late appointments may result in your physician discharging you from the practice.
