Check-ups and sick visits are available with our doctors at either of our two locations. In order to avoid excessive wait, all visits are by appointment. We suggest that you make your appointment far in advance so you can get your choice of time, doctor and location. If you fail to show up for your appointment, a missed appointment charge may be applied to your account. In the event that you are late for your appointment, please understand that we may need to ask you to reschedule. This is done in consideration to the other patients that already have scheduled appointments.
Sick Child Visits
We will make every effort to schedule your sick child visit on the same day that you call us. Please call early during office hours so that we can schedule your visit at a convenient time.
Saturday Sick Visits
Sick visits must be scheduled same day. Our phone lines open at 8:30 am to schedule.
All visits require a scheduled appointment in order to avoid delays for scheduled patients. "Walk in" patients may be charged a walk in fee, and will be added to the schedule if possible, or may be asked to return later when an appointment is available.
If you have a medical emergency during office hours, we will do our best to see your child as soon as possible or refer you to the appropriate facility.
Multiple Children Visits
If you would like us to see more that one child, please schedule all of them when you make your appointment. Without a scheduled appointment, we may not be able to see a sibling immediately, and you may be asked to wait while the doctor sees a scheduled patient who may be waiting.
Well Child Visits
"Check-Ups" are very important in maintaining your child's health. During these visits, we evaluate the growth and development of your child as well as address any of your concerns. We follow the American Academy of Pediatrics recommended schedule for well child visits:
1 week, 1 month, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 15 months, 18 months, 2 years, 2 1/2 years, 3 years, 4 years and older... yearly visits.
We track missed/non-cancelled appointments. Insurance does not cover charges for no-show/late or late cancellation fees. There may be a charge for a late cancellation/no-show appointment of $50. Repeated missed and late appointments may result in your physician discharging you from the practice.
